Garbage is polluting Bengaluru too!

Water pollution is all time high in Bengaluru with growing industrialization. Peenya, an industrial area of the city is considered to be Asia’s biggest scrap market. Most of the large and medium scale industries are situated here. Shockingly, the waste and polluted water of the factories situated in Peenya is being disposed of in drains and other water bodies. The polluted water from these drains is flowing to Vrishbhavathi river which has gradually degraded to a cesspool.
